Where Our Money Comes From

Arthritis Ireland is very much dependent on the generosity of its friends, members and the general public for the vast majority of its funding. Over the last 4 years (2007-2010 audited accounts) we have raised at least 83% of our own income through fundraising and other sources. Over the same period, less than 17% of our income has come from state funded agencies.

Arthritis Ireland is also pleased to confirm that it is fully compliant with the Statement for Guiding Principles for Fundraising developed by the ICTR. This is an important step in ensuring good governance for the organisation and also instilling confidence in the general public of our adherence to good fundraising practice.
